Transmission and other stuff

I've been following the discussions on the 6 speed transmission problem. My 2008 STA V-8 has only 2000 miles on it. Question is should i wait to a higher mileage before i do the battery trick (i notice only ocassional and fairly minor 'thuds'). As its new i assume the latest TSB's are done but it could have been on a dealer lot for awhile so where can i find my production date in order to be sure.



Where is the best onlin e store to buy LED replacement lites for all truck lites.

Why wait till things get worse? I had about 4K on mine when my tranny issues started. I figure with the TSB's, you have a 50/50 shot of it fixing your issues and not having the problem come back.



After I tried the battery trick, none of my issues returned and I have put aprox 2K miles on it and it still shifts better than it did when I bought it.



I have no idea on the LED comment.
