Towing

This is not towing with my ST, but I have a 2001 Dodge Durango R/T 5.9L 4x4. I just purchased a 26 feet travel camping trailer that is about 4,500 unloaded and would be around maybe 7,000 loaded.



The Durango should be able to handle this right?

Google says 7300lbs.. so you should be fine.

thanks for the info. I keep getting mixed signals on it. People I know say yes now problem, others say they would not dare tow it with the Durango.

That year durango is still a body on frame truck right? not unibody? Thats the only thing I've heard people say about towing heavy loads, my Jeep is a unibody with a 5.7 hemi rated to tow 7200lbs, I'd do it.. they rated that way for a reason.
