The rubber cover/seal for the center hinge on my 07 factory bed cover has started to dry rot and crack. Has anyone had this happen and how did you repair or replace the seal? Thanks.

I replaced mine awhile back on my 2010. Open cover 90*, remove 4 torx bolts for the spring first, fold over cover the rest of the way and remove the remaining bolts. replace seal, put non-spring bolts back in, rasie to 90* and reinstall spring and bolts. easy peasy! :supercool:

It has the parts pic for the bed cover.

Part number is 00072C. However I ran the part number on Fordparts.com and it is no longer listed, just the end seals (00072B). I ordered mine several months ago though.
