Tires and wheels

I just bought a 2004 ST. It had 20" chrome BOSS motorsport wheels and Goodyear Eagle GTII tires. Not my style! I have seen some really nice ST on this sight. Could some one please tell me just how big of a tire I can have with out a lift ? Can I buy 16x8 rims with out spacers? Any info would be great. OH by the way The 20"s are on craigslist.com Thanks.

The problem with large diameter aftermarket rims on Fords is that most of them are built with a GM-type offset and will tuck the wheel too close to the body and tire will hit on the inside.

The 16x8 wheel with the least backspacing that I've found (4") is the Pro Comp 1069 and 1089.
