While the forum is about Sport Tracs, this was posted under the subject of jokes/comedy/funny. I think there is an option so that you don't see posts under this category if all you want to do is see Sport Trac related information.



Lots of famous people in that "ad". Wonder how they got them all to speak on it?
 
isnt that Lance Bass?? I thought he was gay? I guess he is just making fun of homophobes? not sure, i am probably missing the point.
 
I thought Alicia Silverstone was in that video. Had to do a little research. i thought maybe she was gay.



Anyways, I did not find the video funny. With that being said, while I may find homosexuality gross, I still believe they should have equality.



We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.



Let them suffer the same as heterosexual's...do in marriage. :D:banana:

I think the term homophobic is over used. In my case, Im not afraid of gays nor do I hate them as a person. I dont like what they do from my moral standpoint. I should have that right. So stop craming it into my life, that I must change my beliefs. I dont run around trying to cram my beliefs into thier lives.

I could care less, same sex marriage has no effect on me or my family, live and let live.

If one of my children (3) said they decided they were Gay, Fine with me, have a good life, your still my child and you will always be loved as such.

People want to do drugs, drink to excess, thats fine with me as long as nobody gets killed or hurt by your actions.

If your a Pediphile and you molest a child, than found guilty after due process, you should be exicuted within 7 days, thats fine with me.

How will same sex marriage effect anyone on this site?

Is a non-issue to me. JMO

Are 19 states in this country that it is illegal to have oral sex between married couples, who really cares.

I don't necessarily agree with the whole gay thing but I had a brother that was gay so it was either accept him as he was or shun him. I am a bit of a hypochrit tho becuase I do find lesbianism interesting. Also excuse the bad spelling.















P.S- I said had because he died of alchohol poisoning.

Just thought it was a funny little video. It didn't threaten or offend me any.



The Ford Motor company, either through its company policies or through donations, has been supportive of several gay and lesbian goals.



Examples, mostly from the Ford Motor Company site:



In a press release dated 2/1/05, Ford announced a pledge of $250,000 to the "Affirmations Lesbian and Gay Community Center in the Detroit suburb of Ferndale, one of the largest donations ever made from a fortune 500 company to a lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) organization.



In March, 2004, the co-founder of Ford's gay, lesbian or bisexual employees group (GLOBE) was honored by the Affirmations Lesbian and Gay Community center.



In April, 2004, Volvo Cars of North American (a division of Ford) was given an Advertising Research Foundation award for it's campaign targeting GLBT customers.



In June, 2004, Diversity Inc. named Ford as among the top 10 companies for GLBT workers.



In July, 2004, Ford became the first of the Big-3 auto companies to add "Gender Identity" as a protected category.



In July, 2002, Ford hired Witeck/Combs Communications to handle their advertising to the gay and lesbian market, according to the Witeck/Combs website
 
Same sex marriage has no impact at all on my life...



I believe everyone should treat life like you would your Sport Trac...make it your own...add to it what you will...just dont expect everyone to like it or even understand it...



I do think alot of groups "campaign" a little too much for my likings..it seems like everytime they open their mouth..something about their rights comes out..



My advice is just Shut Up and go on over there and be gay if you want...you dont need my support...you can be just a gay without it....:D



If it doesnt effect my everyday life..I really couldnt care any less than I do..

I especially love the actress that was at the end of it, talking about the umbrellas. She's in so much stuff, and is so good in all of it, yet I have no idea what her name is.



She's especially good when she's doing improv with another comedian, where she can be (ironically) the "straight man", and set her partner up for the big punchlines.

My concern on gay marriage legalization is that all cities could become openly gay, like Vancouver (in British Columbia). I have never been to a more openly gay city in all of my life, and unfortunately I went with my male friend...assumptions (wrong assumptions!) were made, and it perterbed me, to say the least.



Ads were posted all over the city for New Year's homosexual celebrations...ads that would have been banned in America for being lewd and "pornographic".



Gay bars blatantly advertised (and drew in hordes of straight guys, as they want the girls who go to see the gay guys, etc etc....sad but true), and I'm positive that I didn't meet a single straight native male resident. The left hoop earring was everywhere--there was no "gay neighborhood", unless you count all of downtown as being one.



My question is this--is Vancouver so blatantly homosexual because it serves as a sort of Gay Mecca since most other places are against open gayness, or is it an example of what all cities would gradually become in the wake of full integration of gayness to American culture?



**Also, "homophobia" means fear of the same, which I'm sure we all know. I don't see how the definition agrees with its "anti-gay" usage. Its etymology seems to be rooted in that it was created as a propaganda term. I'm sure that no one actually fears gays, and I take it as an insult to be called this as it implies that I do fear them, which I do not.

I find the thought of male homosexuality especially nauseating, but I hold it above male bisexuality, which serves no purpose other than to help expedite the proliferation of STDs...bi guys are polluting the "pool" for everyone else.

It's a semantics thing for me. I'm not opposed to gays having a legal union, just like straights having a legal union. But in the eyes of the government, neither should be called "marriage".



To me, "Marriage" isn't a legal concept at all--it's a religious one, recognized and instituted by those religious bodies--similar to baptism. Therefore, the government has no business or reason for recognizing or not recognizing marriages--be they hetero, homo, or other--any more than they have any business recognizing or not recognizing baptisms. Further, those outside of those religions, such as the homosexual community, are doing both those religions and themselves a great disservice by trying to co-opt the religious community's term and practice. Your practice isn't approved by the religious community--that's fine, get over it, do your own thing, and stop worrying about how the religious view you.



I realize that there are legal reasons to have some sort of government acknowledgement of a union between two people--but they should therefore just call them that, "unions", regardless of whether they're between people of opposite or the same gender. Leave the "marriages" to the churches, synagogues, and mosques. (Most religious couples would therefore have both a "union" and a "marriage"--similar but distinct concepts.)



Just my 2 cents...
