tail light mod

did a paint job on my tail lights ive been thinking about doing for a while, i think it came out looking good. what do you guys think?

i used a compass to cut circles out of some stuff like contact paper, laminate for books and stuff that is repositionable. for the brake like i offset two circles to make a slight oval. it was a pain in the but to lay them on and get them perfect. the reverse lights actually have a slight groove around the oval so i layed a big piece on and used my exacto knife to trace the groove. the best part is this project cost less than 10 bucks :haveabeer:

What about the red reflectors requires by law?

hmm, i guess i didnt look into that. maybe in nebraska they arent required. i had a cop behind me today in traffic and i didnt get pulled over. so many people have black outs and aftermarket lights without reflectors, i dont think that will be an issue

Very nice job! :supercool: At one time AutoVentShave offered tail light covers that did tha same thing. I think that there needs to be another circle for the turn signal light. You might want to run it by a highway patrol just to be sure your O.K.
