Well, I know it is nothing earth shattering and that the world will continue to revolve, but I just changed my own oil for the first time. Well, my dad did most of it because he didn't want me to get burned, so he took the heat, but I watched and now I know exactly what to do.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who gave me some tips to make everything go easier, and I heard that you all like updates after you help someone out, so here it is.

Thank you all again, and my Trac thanks you all too. Merry Christmas everyone. :)

Best to do it when the oil is a little bit warm so it drains out better, but not burning hot either.

Congrats.

And, you thought working on cars was hard? Congrats your on your way to saving money, knowing it was done right and having a feeling of accomplishment.

But, don't try it on a Porsche Cup car...LOL Long Story won't get into...LOL

Congrats! You'd be amazed at the amount of stuff you can do yourself on this vehicle.

And the folks here are very knowledgeable and helpful.:)
