Sub Woofer Wiring Question

I am almost done my fiberglass sub-box...! i should have it done today...



just a quick question about the wiring. This is how it was wired in my previous box, when both subs were sharing the airspace:

now i have a sealed partition between the two subs...do i still wire it the same way? I have no idea about this so i thought i'd ask before i started tiying things together!

btw. the amp is a 2 channel amp, and the subs are 2-ohm SVC

are they single or dual voice coil subs? Try the application at this site, it helps alot.

they are 2 ohm Single Voice Coils...



i have never seen them wired like this so i was a bit confused myself.

What amp are you wiring it to?



The only options you have for wiring the subs is either 1 ohm or 4 ohm load, most amps aren't 1 ohm stable so more than likely you will be wiring it like your picture shows, or the same as this one (but replace with 2ohm subs)
