Steering Wheel Problem Help

Since yesterday, I have been hearing a weird noice when I turn the wheel. Today I notcied that with the noise, I was having a problem sometimes turning left. I decieded to take a look and see if it was a look connected to a piece of broken plastic. Well, it looks like a ribbon cable from the wheel itself is loose (see huge pic).

What the hell is this and is this something I can fix?

Little update. When I was putting it all back together and assisting the wire back to where it looked like it would go, my horn would honk, and I wasn't touching the horn so this wire definitely has something to do with the steering wheel controls.

Maybe you can get to each end and be sure that it is pluged in well. If the cable looks bad, replace it.

Do I have to remove the steering wheel to do that?

Well, I wa hoping for a little mre insite. I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow and will update if anyone care.

Well, we do care, but as for me I've never had the steering wheel off. Let us know how it turns out, ok?

Ended up being a broken AB Cover and Contact Plate Assembly. $255.45 later and she is good as new.
