Starting problems

we have a 2010 sport trac xlt 4.0 v6 and first start of the morning no matter the weather temperature is hard to start turns over bout 7 or 8 times then cranks but during the day it takes 2 or 3 turnovers to crank we put new fuel pump,and plugs and wires on it but still does same thing any help out there on this

Have you checked your battery and cables- the ground to the body and the live to the starter? A quick way is to use a jumper cable(s) in addition to the cars cables and if the problem goes away then you have a bad cable. I had a ground cable once that looked find but when I took it off the car it just broke in half! The inner braids were all corroded and the ones I could see were on the back side, but not the side I could see.
