spotted a ST in action

On vacation in Cape May, NJ I saw the beach patrol's ST everyday. Thanks to everyone that helped me post the pic

I went to boot camp in Cape May. I hate that place!

That is so cool. But how do you drive it on the sand. I tried that once and had mayor trouble.

I was down there 2 weeks ago and saw they had a gen II also

i saw the gen II the next day - they had no problem driving on the sand. they moved slow with no sudden starts.

Do you need to lower the air pressure in the tires to drive on sand?

Drop the tire pressure to about 15 - 12 and you can drive about anywhere if you stay out of the deep ruts and keep out of the big grain sand.

Look at how hard and packed that sand is. You don't see that in N.C (outer banks) where I like to drive.
