Sport Trac Navigation Speed Pulse

Anyone know where the speed pulse wire is for hooking up an in dash navigation unit.

Location and colors would help.

Got wires everywhere and need to tidy up the interior of my truck again.

Not sure about a 03 but in the 07 its the purple/orange going into the windshield wiper motor. I picked it up under the hood, left front at the top of the firewall. If you can't find it on your vehicle go to avic411.com and search or ask the question.

You can also find a VSS wire (Gray/Black stripe) in a bundle of wires behind the radio, coming down from the overhead console display. That's where I made my connection.

I tried on my 01 to find one in the cab. had to use the one under the hood. Was in a cable harness on the upper firewall.
