Hello everyone....my speed control on my 2002 ST has been acting strange lately. Sometimes it functions as it should but lately, when I try to engage it for the highway the speed control light just blinks and won't engage. After a number of attempts it will finally come on and it works fine. This is happening a lot now as the temps get hotter...is that related or just a fluke? Any ideas on where to look to solve this problem would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim :banghead:

It's most likely the cruise control cutout switch, located on the brake master cylinder. Costs about $20 from Amazon, and takes less than five minutes to replace. I had the same problem, and replaced min about two weeks ago. Here's a link for the part on Amazon, and also a link to a project showing how to replace it. The part # in the project is different. Use the part from Amazon.

As usual, everyone on this site has been very helpful....again! Thank you all. This information will be helpful with fixing my problem I'm sure. I hope to be putting pictures of "my " new addition on here soon. I'm buying a orange 2004 adrenalin next week if all goes as planned.

Thanks again. Jim
