Attempting to change the plugs today. Many of the boots that with on the wires are tough to remove especially #3. Any tips on pulling them off? I have a new set of live wires to reinstall

thanks

Best $10 spent for the task, your knuckles will thank you.

Don't forget boot dielectric grease, available in small packs.

Hope you are replacing the plugs with Autolite or Motorcraft.

Another option are these handle type spark plug wire puller tools:

If you dont want to buy the pullers. Give them a good twist with pliers. or a good razor knife. Since you have new ones it wont matter. Pasenger side is easier with tire off through the wheel well.

As steve sujusted. Be sure to use the dielectric grease, on install. Your knuckles will thank you latter.
