So I just got a Ford Service Manual DVD and loaded the software on my computer. The software is great and I'm sure will provide a ton of useful info. For those of you familiar with this software I have a question. When looking at any of the diagrams the part numbers listed are very short. I have tried looking up parts using the numbers from these diagrams but it seems that they are only partial part number. How can I find out the entire Ford part number?? As an example the software lists the part number for a steering pump pulley as 3A733 but the actual Ford part number is 2L3Z3A733AB? I had to do a lot of searching to find that so I'm thinking that there has got to be an easier way? I also don't want to bug the guys at the parts counter every time I'm looking for a part number. Thanks in advance for your help.
