You are correct. I'm not a neocon, nor a right-winger. I simply don't like to be told what to do. I don't see a mandate to buy health insurance the same as a mandate to purchase car insurance. Driving a car is a privilege and choice, and I can choose not to drive if I don't like the whole mess. However, living, well that's not a choice, but a right.
I would have rather we just up'ed the medicare tax withholding and expanded the eligibility to those currently having low income and no employer coverage. I think that approach would have served our country better.
Instead, what will happen is that small companies will drop their plans and pay the fines where it is more cost advantageous for them to do so (will be many), and then you can bet with that money saved they won't increase salaries, or employee pay, but the employee will still have to purchase their own insurance or pay their own penalty. That means even more people showing up at the ER for gratis care, and no real wellness care for these people...and they will be one major illness away from bankruptcy, forever.
This makes no sense...and in the process, we lost some rights.

Im conservative, but not a tea party person. Folks called Bush a dictator or king.
What do we have now. The begining of a one branch government. All our for fathers put their lives and all they owned on the line against.
It wouldnt suprise me if the flag is being redesigned(by michele). There is more going on behind closed doors, we dont know yet. Im so digusted.

Im afraid that the ocupiers, tea party and others will cause such an upheaval at election time. That exucutive order cancels it. Excutive branch has that power.

Collecting checks just like mom. I wont forget the ones that grew up middle class and silver spoons in their mouth. Still living at home @ 26yrs old lounging and playing video games. Instead of working for the family bussiness. Or getting a job. Running the streets on my dime. Wont even take an easy job. If they were offered $30hr and benifits. We have raised a lazzzzy couple of decades of citizens at all levels and races. Gimeee Gimeee Gimeee, because I was born.:angry: I was proud to grow up in a time when 16, I could lie about my age and get an adult job during summer break.
I hope Im gone from this earth. Before I have to share my hard earned home with strangers. Or forced to live in a cinder block one room apartment, eating cabbage soup. Probably be forced to live in one of the camps being built. Considered a disendent. 10 years from now, there will be fedral government selective genocide.
Waiting for walmart to sell ball caps with the red star. Or hammer and sicle..:angry:

I think that the Supreme Court approving of ObamaCare may be a blessing in disguise. Most people don't like either the entire healthcare plan, or at least some portions of it....This may just lead to Obama's demise as President....The Supreme Court ruled that the manditory healthcare is a Tax pentalty, and Congress can pass a Tax on any group of Americans.
Since "Tax" is a four letter word to most Americans, watch all the Congressmen disavow any connection to passing ObamaCare, and I suspect that will lead to him loosing the election in November.....All we can do is hope.

I'm hoping with y'all as well.
Not a Romney fan by any stretch, but at least maybe we can get the economy back on track. I think any growth we were seeing in these past couple months was in response to the possibility of Romney becoming president. Watch for small businesses to start decreasing workforce as a result of this ruling or at best, halt hiring and the market to remain stagnant while everyone awaits election results.
Still voting for Ron Paul myself as I already know Georgia's going to Romney. I'm just a protest vote.

I saw on the news where Romney collected $4.6 million in campaign donations just since the Supreme Court decision was announced!
Now I see where the Obama administration claims to have created so many new jobs....They are all Tax Collector jobs! :bwahaha::cry:
