Rough Idle

At an idle truck feels like it wants to stall out. RPM's go up and down. I'm wondering if it is the Idle Air Control Sensor or the Mass Airflow Sensor. Anyone else experienced this problem.

It's a very common problem caused by a dirty IAC (Idle Air Control valve).



The Mass Airflow Sensor would not be a common problem unless you use a filter that requires oiling like a K&N. If you over-oil the filter (or some come with too much oil) the oil can deposit a coat of oil on the sensor wires in the MAF sensor and you can get irradic engine operation.
