I was expecting it to be on Cruise Controls...oh sorry that was Fords big recall.

Had the same problem in my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee before we got rid of it. Made for some fun times.

By no means a huge recall. I had problems on all types of makes and models with floor mats. But its kind of a bone head recall. A TSB or SSM might have worked unless the government field tons of complaints.

I agree...a bonehead recall.....engine sludge gets no publicity....floor mats do.:wacko:

I have an uncle in Shreveport,La that just bought a new Tundra, well about 6-8 months ago. He had to have a new engine put in before his first oil change. Said he was setting at a stop light and it just died. Broken camshaft. Dealer told him it was a $20k engine.
