Great! I just pulled the rear drivers-side drum off to check out the wear and everything is covered in diff lube!! Is there any special tools or instructions I will need to pull the seal & bearing for replacement? I saw the project for upgrading the rear breaks to disks, hoping that will tell me most of what I need. Oh yea, its an '02, 4wd, automatic, limited slip diff. Thanks in advance, this site ROCKS!

One of the best tools to remove the seal is to use the axle shaft itself. Put the lip of where the locking ring on the axle goes against the inside lip of the seal, then pivot the axle up against the other side and pry it right out.

Works great.

For installing it, I use a socket that is bigger then the seal. Get the seal started into the axle housing tube, then put the socket against it and tap it in. When the socket stops, it will be square and in place...
