Random Occurance

The other day in a parking lot i ran out of gas (my fault) but that's not the problem when i went and refilled and drove back to my place i got the death blinking O/D....it was sickening but luckily it only lasted maybe 10 seconds. After that i was not too worried, but now my O/D will not turn on (at least the light won't and the possibilities of that and the bulb burning out at the same moment are astronomical) Whats my problem????

First thing I'd try, silly as it sounds, is disconnecting the battery for about 15 minutes to reset the computer. After that, I dunno. See if any codes show up.

Check the reverse light fuse. Believe it or not, but if the back-up light fuse blows, the OD light will not come on if you try to shut off the OD.
