Rancho 9000 Air Compressor Location

Hi All'



Bumping around in my garage last weekend and came across the in-cab remote for my Rancho 9000s that I never installed. I'd like to make it a project for this weekend and I'm looking for some input on where to mount the air compressor in the engine bay? I did a search and saw some ideas for mounting the gauges, but nothing on the air compressor.



If anyone has any other tips on mounting the system those would be welcome too!

Why not under the truck on the inside of the frame rail?

I was hoping to put it in the engine compartment to protect it a little. After spending the better part of an hour and a half looking I’m thinking the best spot is where the air box is. I did look at the frame rails, but I'm afraid one of the check valve might get snagged on something.



Now I just need to get some $$ to buy one of Todd’s filter systems!

Mount it between the outside of the bed box and inside the fenders, tons of room. The driver side already has 12v supply from the power point outlet.
