Over the last several months the display on my radio (stock AM/FM w/6 CD changer) has been getting dimmer and dimmer. Can hardly see it during the day but is better at night. The other day I just happened to notice that the display is pretty warm to the touch even with the radio turned off over night. Is this a problem or normal and is there a way to check to see if there is a small amount of current still on with the engine off? I ask this because I went on vacation and after sitting at the ATL airport for a week the battery was completely dead. I was able to jump it off and have had the battery tested and it seems to be ok. Thanks for the help in advance!

Sounds as if your radio lighting is running in the dimmer mode. As if headlights are on. The daylighting is much brighter, than night lighting.

Only sujestion I have is to pull both fuses to the unit. See if the processor will reset.
