Hey Guys,
Pretty sure the rack and pinion on my ST is shot. I originally thought it was the power steering pump (actually made a post on that originally), but apparently it is not, as it is still very difficult to turn the steering wheel. My question is, how hard a job is the replacement, and if anyone had any tips for the installation. I took a look underneath the ST yesterday, and it looks like the toughest part of the job will be getting the steering shaft out of the rack and pinion itself. Just wanted to see if you guys had any insight into the job. As always, thanks a lot for any help!
BTW I installed a body lift on my ST so that may make the job easier....
