I'm leaving for a much-needed and extended vaction tomorrow afternoon, I'll be flying Southwest. I normally have a wallet with an attached 18" chain to secure the wallet to my belt. Are chain wallets allowed on planes? I couldn't find anything specific to disallow it, but I though I'd better ask. If anything, I've got a money clip I'll use instead, which I may do anyhow.

Better safe then sorry. Odds are, they will not allow it. Leave it at home or remove the chain and put it in your suitcase.

TSA has lifted the regulations and the chain technically would go. However, not everyone is recognizing the lifted regs. I would not take it.
