Does anyone know if these generally come with a memmory feature?

I'm thinking of ordering them on a 07 Trac if they do.

If they don't, then its just another adjustment to be made between my wife and I when we drive it.

If it does, is it tied in with the key faub?

Thanks

on the regular explorer and mercury mountaineer there is a memory feature that is tied to the door remote.. i would think its the same..

they do come with a memory feature and I think it has the option of being set to two memories, there should be a couple of buttons either on the driver's door or to the left of the steering column

its the transmitter.. here is the verbage from the mountaineer manual

Activating the memory feature

To activate this feature:

1. Position the seat and adjustable pedals to the position desired.

2. Press the SET control on the

driver’s door panel.

3. Within 5 five seconds, press one

control on the remote transmitter

and then press the 1 or 2 control on

the driver’s door panel to which you

would like to associate with the seat

and Driver 1 or Driver 2 positions.

4. Repeat this procedure for another

remote transmitter if desired.

What year is your Mountaineer, Troy?

Our is a 2004, and we were told by the sales guy it works with the keys and we do just steps 1 and 2 with the approp key in the ignition.

But, I am going to go read the manual. Thanks!

it may work both ways.. the remotes have numbers on the back of them..

the manual i took the quote out of was for a 2004..

Got1b - Nope. Not on the '07. Well, I should say, not on the Job1. I tried to get it and it was not available. I got the adjustable pedals, but no memory "set" button anywhere to be found.

WTF is it with the 1s? Isn't there enough time in the 1 schedule for all the doo-dads?

I guess they will be there when the 2s come out....

my #2s always take longer than my #1s, so I guess I shouldn't complain.
