After many years of service, the screen on my Pioneer AVIC-N1 went dead. I knew right away that because it has a flip up screen, the ribbon cable would be the cause. So, I ordered a ribbon cable kit from eBay. I did have to wait a little longer for it to arrive because it came from Germany. All is well with the unit once again. That cable was buried in the middle of the head unit.

Nice to see an N1 still in service! I had the N1 in my Gen 1 Trac. Took it out and sold it when I sold that Trac to buy my Gen2. Went with an AVIC-Z1 for my '07 and used it until about 3 months ago. Gave the Z1 to my brother and now I've got an AppRadio2 that I'm casting my Android phone screen to using AppRadio Unchained.
