Pinging

Hey guys, the motor of my ST has been pinging at highways speeds. Its usually at around 60mph, but doesn't occur around town at all. I did a search and I have cleaned the throttle body, the IAC, and also did a Seafoam treatment. I am running the 87 perf tune on my Xcal and have been using 87 Exxon gas. This condition has existed for awhile, ever since I upgraded my tires to 285/75's. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give.

Try running 89 octane fuel or try a different brand of 87 octane fuel.

Mine knocks with if I fill it with 87 oct. I run 89 and it's fine.

Yeah I thought carbon buildup also Gavin, but I thought the Seafoam treatment would take care of that..I'm going to try some 89 octane on my next fill up and see if that solves the issue. Thanks guys
