Payload weight

Can anyone tell me how much weight my stock 2005 Sport trac will haul? The paper work says it has a "payload upgrade" on it but I don't know what that means. I'm wanting to haul some bundles of shingles but don't know what kind of poundage it can handle safely.

From what I understand somewheres in the range of 1400 lbs
