Show off your truck in off road ACTION. Pavement queens need not apply.

The proof is in the pictures and videos. This is a challenge. I want to see these trucks getting built also getting used! Don't just tell us about it; show it!

As always:

:worthless:

I'll start with yesterday's trip to Durhamtown 4x4 park.

Thanks! It was a lot of fun and not a lick of damage, making it even sweeter. Played Jeep Recovery Vehicle a good bit. It's always fun to use the vehicle for what I have modified it for. The parking lot compliments are nice but surprising people on trails is much more satisfying.

You should take your wristwatch off. You will scratch your paint hanging it out of the window like that...Man, I really enjoyed that! Thanks for sharing! ..The watch comment was a joke btw

Hahaha, yeah, I got it. The trees and brush give it some trail pinstripes but they always buff out with a good wash and wax. It is a fiber watch band at least and believe it or not, I do pay attention to not placing the metal clasp on the paint. I certainly use the truck but I don't abuse it, lol. It ain't a mall crawler, but it's not a beater, either.

I'll have to update later with it all dolled up for it's weekday business duties later. The leather needs a thorough cleaning/conditioning as it was incredibly dusty. The green paint cleans up really well and hides blemishes well. When we had the black Tahoe, and my previous black Accord, hiding flaws was a nightmare and borderline impossible. I'd say I'd never own another black vehicle but Katie only likes black vehicles and we bought her Edge in black. I admit they look good and I initially looked for a black ST (influenced by Jerry back in the day) but glad I got the Estate Green because of what I do with the truck. Besides, I may be partial, but off road vehicles should be green.

Before the ST, I was a "vehicles are black, red or white" and that was it. I'm becoming more open-minded. I added green, lol.

Nice pictures and videos man.

I don't have many of mine cause I'm usually wheeling alone and or no one wants to get out of my truck to take pictures or videos. Hopefully I can get plenty of pictures and videos this Saturday.

Here's some that I have now, some older, some newer...

He's not talking smack on lowered trucks, just those Mall Crawlers' that have tons of money invested in them and should be used as Rock Crawlers or Trail Rig's. JMO

:driving::supercool::rofl:

Nah, any vehicle that gets used for it's supposed purpose is awesome in my book. It's the same to me as muscle cars that get pulled into car shows on trailers that I call trailer queens. I always have and will continue to insist on driving my Cougar to shows. If it ain't a #1 production or an extremely rare and collectible vehicle worth 6 figures, what's the point in building a vehicle to "look" like it has some purpose?

Sport Tracs have two different build types and both are great, IMO. If it's a street truck, I expect it to be driven as such. If it's lifted, I expect to see being used. If it's a GenII, I expect to see it pulling a boat occasionally. This thread is my attempt to see some "off road" Tracs being used as such.

I haven't washed the truck, yet, (except the pressure washing of the suspension I did at the trails) and yesterday and today I got more than the usual wave from other trucks. I occasionally get the arm out the window wave on normal days but this weekend, guys have been flailing their arms like crazy, lol. Except the Heep guys, they only wave to other Heeps. Probably couldn't have told them how many times I pulled their kind around yesterday.

I hear ya. I've been lucky the last couple times that one of my buddies has brought his wife who was more than happy to record the event and a good camera. Actually, yesterday she drove most of the time and he drank beer and took pictures, lol.

It's crazy to me how a hill can look so steep and intimidating in person and you feel like you're about to flip when on it, but when you see the pictures or videos, it looks like nothing. For the record, the hill in the second video was so steep that none of the Jeeps even attempted it. They all told me I was crazy.

Here are some pics from my last trip to SMORR. Should be in Fourwheeler magazine soon.

What psi do you typically run Chad? I've been airing down to 18. Great pictures and video. Hope to join your ranks by the end of next year but just set into motion buying land and building a house so we'll see. Got the axles, just need more money, time and knowledge.

Looks like you know how to have fun Roy. Nice truck.
