Park Aid Problem

2008 ST LTD 4.6 V8

Message center in dash just come up with "Check Park Aid" in orange.

The distance measuring at rear of vehicle seems in active and no signal in cab.

Does anybody know where I should start to look.

I like this feature when it is working.

you may be able to tell which one is the problem by placing your hand over each sensor one at a time. may have to be in the bed with something to reach down with so you don't trigger other sensors with your body.

I got bumped in the back and have the same problem. Probably one or more of the sensors are bad.

It is a real pain to trouble shoot. I have replaced them all but it is still not working.

I recently had the issue of the park aid not working. The way they are wired they work in tandem with each other so if one goes out they all quit. I just took mine into the dealership and they found and replaced the bad sensor under my warranty.
