I recently painted the cladding and nerf bars and I also took the opportunity to replace the cruise control switches due to the plastic coming off.

During that process, I inadvertently attached the wire connector upside down to the On/Off switch.

This had a "curious" effect. Once the airbag was installed, the horn stayed on. If the airbag was removed, the horn would also honk if I pressed the cruise control off button.

Also just did mine this weekend. Prep took a while, used Krylon Fusion for Plastic. Mixed Satin and Gloss. Just a hint, don't let your 6 year old ask to be your assistant, cause even though you try to have those daddy / son moments playing with the truck, you'll slip many times, LOL.
