Peanut butter works well....

Todd Z

Tried the peanut butter once but it didn't work to well. Perhaps I used the wrong brand. Where do you get the Mr. Clean eraser?

If you can get just peanut oil, that works even better then peanut butter. I've used PB on the paint itself before to remove some left over adhesive, works just fine, although it may take a few tries to get evverything off.

This has already been discussed before and it seemed like the two that worked the best were:

1. Pencil Eraser

2. Yes peanut butter.

Surprised the Zaino-holics haven't jumped in on this thread.

You could switch to a different wax/polish. I've found that the Meguiars NXT Tech Wax is easy to remove should you get it on rubber trim.

Mother's Back-To-Black, it's made for getting wax residue off. The stuff is actually white and is fine to use on the gray trim. Puts a nice shine on as well.
