In 2001, there was Mandarin Gold, and in 2004 there was Competition Orange.

My competition orange is 2004. They had another in 2008. I'm hoping for 2012 at this point. I'll be ready to replace my 04' about then.

I bought mine in 04'... even then they spouted rumors about closing the plant and discontinuing the Sport Trac. My bet is they'll continue the product and that it will always be an ongoing rumor. I'll only believe they're closing when they actually do it. Just my $.02 but I don't have an inside track.

I want around 50,000 miles, 4WD, and a price between $15,000-$20,000. Honestly I'm willing to travel to where ever to get an orange one! Would love any suggestions! Thanks!
