off road lights on roof--how can i do it

I have a bull bar on the front of my ST, and have 2 PIAA lights attached, but I am removing the bull bar as part is rusted through. I would like to mount them on the roof of the truck but don't want to put a basket up there...any suggestions??

Check to make sure it's legal to have lights mounted up there. For example, loads of guys in Wisconsin have mounted lights up there only to get a ticket because they're not covered, even when not being used.

You can get a set of cross bars like these from eBay and mount them onto them.

I got the cheap $60 set of crossbars from ebaymotors and a set of cheap offroad lights from the local swapmeet. You can use any lights for the roof that you like. There's plenty of how-to threads in the projects section.
