At 25K per year per prisoner we could send them all to college or better still pay them the $25K if they stay straight. The legal system in this country is broken. There is no reason to allow the inmates cable TV, workout rooms, basketball courts, pool tables etc. In many cases this is more than they are usually accustomed to on the outside. Let's make it so that they are unhappy and do not want to go back when they get out. Just a suggestion.

Stopped reading at "Per Glenn Beck."

Why is that? Afraid that someone may hurt your precious feeling on the All-Supreme, Most-Merciful Barack Obama?

If the Democrats survived having Ashcroft and Gonzales as AG, then the Republicans can survive having Koh in this role...

Conservatives about soiled themselves with Gonzales... he was almost as bad as Reno. However, Reno and Gonzales are spectacular choices when compared to Holder and Koh. Holder is a rabid Socalist, Pro-Abortion, Pro-Gun Control. Koh... well read above.

Ashcroft was only out to defend and uphold the Constitution, and that is the precise reason that Liberals disliked him.

Nope, I just prefer reading the opinions of open-minded people rather than extremists on either side of an issue. Glenn Beck wouldn't agree with a Democrat about the sky being blue, let alone anything even remotely controversial, so why would I waste my time listening to him shout "Socialism! Socialism!" again and again.

I'll look at the facts and draw my own conclusions, no matter on which side of the aisle they reside. If you want someone to spoon-feed you pablum that reinforces what you think you already know, enjoy.

I actually find Glenn Beck to be pretty fair and balanced. He's definately to the left of both Rush and O'Reilly, not that that is saying too much.

Beck has been labeled a "conservative talk show host", but I think that is rather unfair. He seems to me to be a guy that likes to question the absurdities of our political system, our leaders, and of the world in general.

I see nothing wrong with that, and those that won't even listen to him or what he says, IMHO, are probably the type that don't want to hear anything bad about their party...regardless which party that is.

How dare you say that?

How can you not see that people like Rush Limbaugh, Glen Back, and all other far right conservitives are telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Rest assured, they would NEVER blow anything out of proportion.

Only liberals would do stuff like that.

Considering you managed to work the Fox News tagline into the first sentence of your post, I'm not surprised. :D

Liberals are certainly guilty as well. I think Michael Moore is just as big a clown as Glenn Beck or Rush. (Actually, a few pounds bigger.)

At the end of the day, I'd just rather listen to people debate the points of an issue and let viewers/readers/listeners decide for themselves what they believe than constantly scream that the sky is falling because their side isn't getting its way.

Nobody said guys like Michael Moore are not like that. Honestly, I like to watch Michael Moore movies. Very interesting and very thought pervoking. Of course, you need to take it with a grain of salt because anyone can spin something in a different direction to make it "fit" them.

The true open minded person will listen to all sides and decide from there. Liberals and conservitives don't do that. I work with a bunch of them. My favorite quote from one of them is...

"If you want to truth, listen to Rush. He tells the truth. There is no need to listen to anyone else."

Too funny.

All this is funny...people bitching about losing their rights, the consitution being used as toilet paper, etc...

Did not hear alot of bitching the last 8 years...and no one can do worse in that department than Bush did!

Actually, you did. I guess you just chose not to listen. No one was a bigger critic on issues liek AG Gonzales, Amnesty, whats-her-name, his first nominee to the SCOTUS who pulled her own name, Not a huge fan of the Patriot Act, definately not a fan of the first TARP package.

Reality shows that Obama has already surpassed Bush in spending (especially in projected spending) and Obama is really showing how much of a novice he is when it comes to international relations (wrong region DVD's, Ipod to the Queen - who already had one, ignoring protocol with the Queen, ignoring traditions with the British Prime Minister, calling England "one of our greatest allies" - not our greatest ally which they have been called since WWII, and the biggest affront so far - returning a gift of a Churchill bust to the British Embassy that was given to this country after 9/11).

Bush was no saint. Obama.... can't even hold a candle to Bush. Sorry.
