New toy

Took the new boat out for it's maiden voage today. Was out for about an hour before a storm came up. Did not have time to get back to the boat ramp, however, I did have time to put the top up and just waited the storm out. Got to watch all the other fishermen sit in their boats and get soaked while they were trying to get their chance to pull their boats out. When the rain stopped we got back to fishing! We did not catch anything today. But it was fun just getting out and playing with the new boat. The Sporttrac towed it well up, down, and around the hills here.

Nice rig. Triton makes a nice boat. Rodger will be along shortly to share details; he has an early year of the same model.



Last year, I sold my 17' Nitro bass boat to take on a 21' Sprint fish and ski "project" boat. Lots of elbow grease later, it's a good boat, but not quite a new Triton...



Gonna be a nice boating season. Enjoy it!
