You've got to be kidding!
Don't get me wrong, but at first I thought this was a joke . . . .
Then I realized that you were serious.
I'm a fan of chrome, but:
Chrome trim = GHETTO . . . . Ultra Ghetto!
Back in high school, when I was making just barely above minimum wage and still living with the parents, I would have saved every penny to do the same. (I'll never forget my ridiculous vinyl phase when I plastered my Acura in what I thought was awesome at the time.)
Things have changed and the image I perceive of chromed-out vehicle owners is anything but envious.
The stock chrome is nice, but you should have stopped with the rims & tie-down deletes.
All you need now, to top it all off, is the big "Sport Trac" chrome lettering across the bottom half of the doors, chrome trim around the wheel wells, chrome side mirror housing and lastly chrome windshield whippers (oops . . . did I reveal your next projects?)
Each to his own I guess.
To be honest with you, I just don't understand the concept of chroming out a vehicle like it is some sort of wealth status indicator (btw, 99.9% of the time a false image).
I'll be nice and leave it at that . . . .
