Unless you live on the windswept prairie (like Wyoming, Nebraska Colorado ) you likely won't have this happen, but it's certainly loud and annoying.
When driving with cross winds of 40-60 mph if they come from the driver's side, there is a loud rumbling noice from the right rear of the ST. IT only happens with wind coming from the left side or slightly front and left. I thougth it might be the splashguard but Turns out its the wheelwell inner liner that gets sucked into some sort of a vortex and flaps around inside the wheel well. Really loud and you feel it in the seat and floorboards. I am working on a solution and will let you know what I find.
