My 2003 ST's driver seat belt is giving me trouble. The "receiver" part that you plug the belt into is not working properly. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it will not allow me to push the tongue of the belt into it. There seems to be a small piece inside the receiver that is not retracting properly.

Could someone please tell me the best place to order a replacement receiver? I don't know the technical name or part #, so I'm having trouble locating one to buy online. Or if this is a common problem that can be fixed without replacing the piece, that would be even better!

Thanks!

The receiver mechanism tends to get dirty and sticky over time. Place a towel under the buckle and flush it out with penetrant before replacing. WD40 with the straw works great.
