I need to get new brakes for my 2001 ST. I beleive I need rotors as well as I have already had them turned. I was wondering what I am looking at cost wise to have them done. Not really sure were to bring it for the best deal either. I have a pep boys, monro, aamco, menieke, midas, and ntb around me anybody have an opion on these places on quality of service.

Thanks

Shawn

I hate all those places....

Since your ST is 4wd the brake job is apiece of cake for a novice.... No bearings to mess with....

Buy a good set of rotors and pads, Have a buddy come over that knows how to work on cars, Print the project in the projects section and your good to go..

Just put new Wagner Rotors and Loaded Wagner Calipers on my 2003 330.00 dollars

Easy job. half an hour each side. Ford rotors were all pitted. Junk

i did raybestos from rock auto, new rotors and pads

for around $100 shipped in parts and being the 4x4

as Todd says it was really a piece of cake.

i also took the forums advice and opened the bleeders before

compressing the pistons so the caliper brake fluid leaked out

and didnt get forced back in to the ABS.

too bad you arent closer to NJ i would give you a hand

with the job.

Could come to the LI meet with the parts and we can do them here !!!!
