Need help with transmission ID

I'm thinking of putting in a floor mounted shifter on '05 ST. Can someone please check out the link and ID the type of transmission is in an '05 automatic ST?:wacko:

The Tranny is a 5R55E.



The link you posted lists manual trannies. The Trac has an automatic.

Caymen, There are a few models of ST out there with standard tranny's.

If it is a standard tranny the shifter is already on the floor...

with autoumatics I prefer the shifter on the column..makes for more console space...

Mike, I just looked through their shifters for automatics and don't see any for our tranny.

There is no such thing as a 2005 Trac with a manual tranny either.

All manuals are 2001 I believe, and Job 1 if I remember correctly.



And yes, the tranny is a 5R55E. I am not aware of any floor shifters available for this tranny....but I could be mistaken.......

Sorry AndyG, manuals made it in to some of the '03 models. I myself have an '02 with a manual.
