Hey ya'll. Just got the latest offer from Ford. Buy the new(11P) version disc for your nav and get a $25 gift card. The disc will still set you back $199 and once you get it, you need to send in a rebate form. The form is on the website, all you have to do is print it out. Its just nice to have all the new streets in there! Bob

thanks for the info.

I bought mine a couple months ago and there was no offer at that time. Might as well give it a try. Only thing is I don't have the UPC from the shrink wrap any more.

I was looking into purchasing for my 2010 but it is only for-

I don't think they are locked,, or they weren't in the past. I got a copy from a friend of his 2010 disks. Just burned a cd and gave it to me. Works fine, altho I think FORDs GPS SUCKS!

Guys, the 2007&8 take the DVD 11p disc that stays in the unit. 2009&10 are a hard drive unit that runs off internal software. The current update is v5.1x. A software update. Not sure if you can copy that. I have a copy of 11p that works fine in my 08 Expy. I haven't heard anyone hacking the software version but at some point I certainly will be trying

The 11p DVD is easy to copy. I've had no issues with that. But the updates are so far behind the real world. I see interchanges all the time that obviously have been there for years that don't even show. $199 is a rip off. Jmo.

I bought the 11p disc off of ebay. It was a copied disc, it works no problem, much cheaper than paying the 200 bucks. I bought the 11p disc off of ebay. You will need a dual layer dvd to burn it to.
