I spent $2.17/gallon this morning.
The grocery store around the corner from us gives out coupons to their gas station in the parking lot--You get $.01/gallon off for every $10 you spend in the store, good for up to 15 gallons. So if you have a weekly family grocery run where you spend $150, you get a coupon for $.15/gallon off on the gas. You can use up to 5 coupons per 15 gallon fillup. So this morning, my 5 coupons totalled $.52, so instead of $2.69, I paid $2.17.
One of the few advantages of having to spend a large chunk of your paycheck buying groceries for a family of five...
