Thought I'd post this fix that was long overdue. Plastic door striker bushings are wear items and are notorious for causing loose and rattling doors. Bushings are not available separately and I found the Dorman 38445 aftermarket strikers of very poor quality. Moog K7275 end link center spacer sleeves cut to length seem to work well and may be a
long term fix. Doors have never closed better and my ST is rattle free for the first time since I bought it in 2009. EF thread linked below with pics since my library here is non functional.
