I started the trac today and where the odometer is it said "caught engine" what does that mean

For what it's worth ... Caught Engine nor Caution Engine doesn't appear to be a display option per my 10 SPORT TRAC Owner's Guide when looking under Instructment Cluster on pages 20-38.

I had a message today, " check gauges " where the odometer display usually is. I had just finished change the thermostat housing and forgot to attach the intake tube by the the air filter. When I started the truck it stalled very quickly and displayed that message. I guess no air going through the mass airflow sensor must do that.

Have you had any work done lately? Maybe they forgot to attach something?
