A guy named Rudolph, if I recall the name correctly. It was built by Funkmaster Flex's shop and he won it in a drawing. Good dude. He loaded up the wife and kids and they may have driven farther than anyone else to get there.

any word from FMC about the future of the ST's?

any word from FMC about the future of the ST's?

Yes...and "No". They explained that 1) from a business standpoint they don't make enough of them to be very profitable, only about 12,000 this year, and 2) for now and in the future the market will demand more fuel efficiency and you can't do that with a conventional body-on-frame vehicle. Sales of Explorers and Rangers are way down too, although they admit that the design is old (which is not the fault of the people in the plant, they just build what they're told to build). Currently the plant is only working one shift a day and about one-third of capacity.

I don't think it's lowered. The big wheels and tires make it look lower than it is. Standing next to it it seemed like stock height to me.
