I'm looking to get new rotors for my front brakes and am looking to get these from Napaonline: http://www.napaonline.com/masterpages/NOLMaster.aspx?PageId=470&LineCode=UP&PartNumber=880027&Description=Brake+Rotor+Only+-+Front

But I notice they only list one part, and I assume these work on either the driver or passenger side brakes.

However, I went to summit racing to compare their rotors, they had part numbers listed for both

and

Has anyone here ordered rotors before, hopefully from Napa, and know whether this part works for either side?

What Bruce said. I've got the napa's and it's a single part number. Only been on for a few month's so don't have much of an opinion but their working as they should along with the PFC carbon-met, pads. Word has it that the ceramics retain heat, and they aren't recommended for the slotted's if you go that route.

Cool, thanks for the quick replies guys. I just want to get rid of the damn vibration when I brake. Going to order them now.

Spiff, have you changed out your drum shoes yet? I just checked mine and they have plenty of thickness left, but I'm going on my third set of front pads and I'm only at 70k.

I'm at 67k miles and thusfar haven't even checked them. I had the same vibe issue you do and getting rid of it was wonderful. I'm currently on my third set, but that's due to removing the second prematurely due to the warped rotor issue. I was using the ceramics and they were ok. Not alot of dust, but the squealed a bit, something the PFC's never did. Don't know if it was due to warping but I'm not planning on trying them again, so I'll never know.

I'm changing out my Power Slots this weekend. Why? Just because they now have 60k on them, and they need to be changed. I changed the pads (under replacement warranty) just a few months ago, and noticed that one of the rotors was getting very worn on the inside. Now they've worn down to the point where the slots are no longer visible on one rotor.

I bought some Wagner rotors for $55 each with a lifetime warranty, and some Wagner Thermo-Quiet pads for $61. Both from Oreilly's. I've been using the Performance Friction pads and have been very happy with them and the Power Slots - no complaints, I just didnt want to fork out the money for another set. Others on this site have been happy with their Thermo-Quiets, so I went with those.
