Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to hook up a second set of fog lights and wire them to the existing fog light switch (so that both sets of fog lights run off the same switch)? Or will it draw too many Amps? Not sure what the amp rating is of the stock switch (I have a 2001 ST)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Travis

Interested in this myself..How do you "cut"the switch in (dremel tool?) in the dash.

And how is the wiring set up?(Relays, etc...) Thanx.tracnblack

I think there are stock trim pieces from Explorers that would already have the extra hole in it.

the bracket in the dash can hold another switch i just drilled a hole and used a small round file until i got the hole where i wanted it .their is a wiring digram around here some where do a search i will see what i can find

Keep in mind the amperage that your asking the wires and switches to do.....

To much working load and you could easily damage the wires/switch and or have a fire.

Just use a relay and wire it to the existing. Then you are only drawing the amps needed to switch on the relay.
