K & N Intake 77 weird noise.

I just installed a K&N 77 intake on my 4.6 v8 and it seems to make a loud noise like you are blowing across the top of a cola bottle which vibrates through the cab. My KKM on my '01 did not do this. Has anyone else experienced this? I expect to hear something but that was not what I expected.

I may have solved the issue . . . I searched for the issue out on the web and a suggestion was made to check the hoses and that what they saw was one of them was too weak and would collasp under load. What I had done is push one of the hoses down under another hose and it kinked the hose. You should see it sticking up now in the pictures. Mine would make the weird noise with very little load on the engine.
