and this took how many runs to piece together? watch the cameras mounted on the car. They keep changing. In the Segway shot, there's a camera on the roof, in some it's on the side, others there's no camera at all.



Definetly some good driving... but come on
 
Wow!! That is some mad skill.



My question then is this, after watching that, how can anyone say that Nascar is interesting?

Probably pieced together from at least four shots, judging by the sets of mounted tires. Believe it or not, it's quite common to reshoot a scene several times. Since there were a limited number of cameras, you do a few takes with the cameras in one place, move the cameras, a few more takes, etc. It's standard practice. Even if it took 20 shots, no one stunt is easy to do at all, and any one stunt takes immense amount of talent and car control.
 
Even more than the car driver's skills, I'm impressed with the Segway driver's ability to do what he did without a significant bulge forming in the back of his pants!!!!
